Uninstalling ZOOM completely form your Mac
Today, when I signed in to my Mac, I was greeted by an unexpected app: Zoom. You might imagine my surprise, finding Zoom in my automatically opening applications, after uninstalling it a few months ago. At least I thought I had, but apparently I missed deleting some bits that ended up installing an “update”, which made Zoom automatically open this morning. So here is a comprehensive list of Zoom related files you (and I) should delete, to remove it completely (as far as I know):
The app:
/Applications/zoom.us.app
The Preferences & User Settings
~/Library/Preferences/us.zoom.updater.config.plist~/Library/Preferences/us.zoom.updater.plist~/Library/Preferences/us.zoom.xos.plist~/Library/Preferences/us.zoom.ZoomAutoUpdater.plist~/Library/Preferences/ZoomChat.plist~/Library/Application Support/ZoomUpdater(directory)~/Library/Application Support/zoom.us(directory)
The Firefox Extension Preferences
Using a different browser? So am I, but Zoom wrote those files anyway.
~/Library/Preferences/us.zoom.updater.plist~/Library/Preferences/us.zoom.updater.config.plist
The Helpers:
/Library/PrivilegedHelperTools/us.zoom.ZoomDaemon
The Caches:
~/Library/Caches/us.zoom.xos(directory)~/Library/Caches/us.zoom.updater(directory)
The Leftovers:
This one is a bit more tricky, because your directory structure might look different. You’ll have to do some manual digging, I recommend you use a search tool for that to stay sane.

Dear Zoom Team
Not funny. Makes you feel like malware.
