Small delights
It’s the little things that make me happy while using macOS Tahoe. Besides Liquid Glass, which is getting better with every update, many of the small details in Tahoe are actually very delightful. For example, the menu bar has live activities, showing timers currently running, or the progress while printing a document.
Just next to the left-most items on the right hand side of the menu bar in macOS Tahoe, a live activity shows the progress of a current print job.
The live activity here is interactive, clicking it opens a dropdown menu with a button to stop printing. Something that used to require opening the print queue and understanding the different options in it, is now a single click away, and much more user friendly.
